This is my finished work on my rock magazine, I have made some changes to the cover story on my front cover since the first example that I posted, this is after writing the double page spread. The reason behind this was because I wanted something that would grab readers attention more and have a greater link to the interview. As you can see I have tried to stick to a similar text and colour scheme throughout, in the hope to create my own brand.
I really like how the magazine has kept a consitent brand, this is done through the constant house style. The colour scheme of black red and white reflects the genre of rock and instantly targets the audience. This is further shown through bold lexical choices within the double page spread, with lexis like 'rising rock star'. One of my favouirite aspects of the contents page is how you have used flashers to draw the audience to the certain page, creating an engaging page. Overall I believe you have effectively created a magazine that sticks to a consistent brand and targets the appropriate audience,
